Malaria Prophylaxis

There are various types of malaria tablets, and your travel health advisor will go through the different options that are available to you for your destination. Anti-malaria tablets can cause side effects and some tablets are unsuitable for some people. Your advisor will discuss both of these with you, so that they choose the best option for you when buying malaria tablets.

We keep the following malaria tablets in stock and can supply them to you straight from the clinic, so you don't have to make another trip to the chemist:

• Chloroquine (Avloclor)
• Proguanil (Paludrine)
• Chloroquine and Proguanil combined
• Doxycycline
• Mefloquine (Lariam)
• Malarone
• Malarone Paediatric

Alternatively, we can give you a prescription for malaria tablets to take away. There is a charge of £15 for a private malaria prescription.
