The Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine (LSTM) is an
international post-graduate centre of excellence devoted to
research, education and training and consultancy work.
Founded in 1898, LSTM was the first institution in the world
dedicated to research and teaching on tropical medicine. Today, we
have an active teaching programme welcoming some 500 students every
year from more than 70 countries, a research portfolio spanning
every area of tropical medicine and international health and a
travel clinic of acknowledged excellence.
There has been a travel clinic at LSTM since the 1960's and we
have seen hundreds of thousands of patients over the years for both
pre and post travel advice. We therefore have a wealth of
experience in our field and offer consultancy services to
organisations who want to carry out an independent audit/
evaluation of the travel health service provided to them, or we can
offer consultancy services to other travel health service providers
who need help, support, advice or training.
