Them Course Programe RCN Accredited

This annual five-day course is aimed at interested health care
professionals advising travellers and/or those planning to work as
expedition medics. The course will cover the fundamentals of
travel health and expedition medicine and highlight any advances in
the field of travel medicine.
This course is primarily a 'paperless' course. This allows us to
keep costs to a minimum and is in line with LSTM's commitment to
the principles of education for sustainable development. You are
encouraged to bring a laptop computer with a good battery
life on which to view teaching resources and annotate handouts
if you wish - our lecture theatre is equipped with plugs for
recharging.
Catering arrangements. Lunch is not included in the course
price, however refreshments will be provided throughout the
day.
Course participants can choose to attend individual days of the
course or can book for the whole week. Discounts are
available for NHS staff and early bookers. The next course
will be held in February 2013. The 2012
course programme is currently attached to give an idea of the usual
course schedule, until the 2012 programme is finalised.
